“A perfect holiday.
It is a great hotel with super food and very friendly and attentive staff.
The view is beautiful and breathtaking. Everything is very clean and tidy, and the perfect daily cleaning of the rooms deserves a special mention. The swimming pool and the two sauna areas are beautifully designed, and here too the view is gigantic.
It is only a 5-minute walk to the Watles lift.

“A beautiful house, kept clean and well maintained down to the last corner. Very friendly and incredibly warm hosts who spoil you completely as if you were their favourite family member. The food is typical of South Tyrol, sensationally delicious, and the portions are entirely enough to fill even a 1.90 m man of a good 100 kg after hiking. We were already there for the fifth time this year and were never disappointed - quite the opposite. When we left we booked again for next year straight away :)

“The hosts create an incredibly personal atmosphere.
The whole hotel is furnished very lovingly and perfectly. The private balconies of the panorama suites are sensational: not overlooked by others and with a fabulous view.
The wellness area is beautiful, the breakfast buffet with, among other things, the many fresh berries is a dream, and the evening 4-course menu (5 with salad) is simply delicious. If you want seconds you get them - all requests for changes are accommodated.
Nothing to complain about! 100% relaxation guaranteed!

“We had a very beautiful and relaxing holiday with a very beautiful view of the mountains and the valley. Being woken up by the sun 🌞 in the morning and then having the same relaxing view at breakfast is not something you get often. In the kitchen Michael conjures up very good and tasty food. The apple strudel is very 😋 delicious.
Many heartfelt thanks also to the bosses and staff, whose familial friendliness makes the stay even nicer. The view from the sauna is simply relaxing.

“We are a young family with a toddler and had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Having travelled on the recommendation of the grandparents, our expectations were not only met but far exceeded.
From the very first moment we felt warmly welcome. The service is simply outstanding: attentive, genuinely friendly and incredibly loving – especially with children. You can feel that people work with heart here and that every single guest is truly looked after.
The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, a great selection for big and small, and dinner was a real treat every day.
Everything was always spotlessly clean, which is especially important to us as a family.
The pool area is a dream: a lovingly designed toddler pool and two beautiful wellness areas make sure that everyone really gets what they are looking for. The location of the hotel, the dreamlike view and the quiet atmosphere invite you to breathe, relax and arrive.
Our room was very spacious and perfect for a stay with a child.

The room very nice and quiet, wellness perfect, the pool is open even before breakfast. Breakfast very generous. Kinds of cheese, numerous kinds of butter, cold cuts, fresh omelette / eggs, fruit, even white sausages... etc. as far as the eye can see. Just the same at dinner - I have rarely seen so many salads on offer... and always the question, would you like seconds? The attentiveness and friendliness of the staff is especially pleasant. “An absolutely dreamlike hotel!
The furnishing of the rooms is up to date and generous - a mix of wood and modernity.
The sauna area seems to have been completely refitted recently and is very inviting. In the evening you can play table tennis, bowling or billiards.
Best of all, however, is the service, from reception to the waiting staff at the opulent and tasty half-board meals.
The surroundings are wonderful for hiking.

“This hotel is the has one of the most panoramical views that I have ever seen. On the whole, the rooms were quite good, with the only mishap being that the shower door won't lock. “All I can say is we had a great week, and super weather that rounded off the stay, so to speak.
The Kastellatz family was great.
But I would also like to mention one staff member in particular, the cheerful character ‘Daniela’.
I just want to say it is simply great that all the staff addressed us by name on the second day, and Daniela ‘asked’ us on the second day, do you still remember my name, of course we did, whereupon came only the objection, that was my name yesterday.
We all laughed heartily....

“We were simply thrilled with this hotel. We spent four nights there as a family and were greeted straight away by the friendly restaurant manager Daniela. You don't find such a personal welcome everywhere. The panorama suite was wonderfully equipped, the pool area with children's pool very appealing especially for the little ones, and the food too! A very varied breakfast buffet and an excellent menu every evening with a great salad buffet. Every evening our daughter got the chilled juice from the day before, colouring materials and ice cream - she was happy. this wonderful destination was the tip of a dear campsite neighbour, and everything was exactly as he described it in his ‘insider tip’: We enjoyed beautiful and large rooms with a view of the magnificent mountains, warm-hearted staff, food of the finest and an unsurpassable breakfast buffet. The child-friendliness showed itself at the latest in the great range of leisure activities in the house; the icing on the cake is definitely the swimming pool in front of the mountain backdrop. And anyone who likes to indulge must on no account miss a wonderful massage in the spa area!

We spent almost 14 days in this hotel in South Tyrol and are absolutely thrilled. The service was excellent throughout – the whole team was always obliging and friendly. It felt like staying with good friends.
The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were more than sufficient and presented with great attention to detail. It was obvious that the kitchen team places great value on quality and taste.
The hotel complex itself lies directly on a mountain and offers a breathtaking view down into the valley towards Mals. Waking up every morning and enjoying this view was simply indescribable.

“Where do we start... We had a really great holiday, you could say a perfect holiday.
We had the Panorama Suite Ortler and were thrilled. Really smart and tastefully furnished with a lot of wood. The view from the balcony was great and we enjoyed the view of the valley and the mountains every day. Plenty of cupboards and lots of space to stow your things. Great bathroom with 2 washbasins, shower and bathtub. A fully equipped kitchen and thus the possibility of making a coffee or tea outside the usual times or putting something in the fridge. Unfortunately it was not apparent from the pictures or descriptions that this kitchen exists, and that is definitely something that may/must be mentioned. The beds were really comfortable to lie in, no back pain as you often have otherwise. We looked forward every day to what artful creations the chambermaid had made with the pillows and duvets.
Breakfast and dinner were unbelievably good. I have never seen so many different butter creations on a buffet. The freshly prepared egg dishes every morning were very tasty and formed a super basis for a strenuous hiking day. In the evening there was a 4-course menu with an additional, extremely varied salad buffet. During our 10 days' stay nothing on the menu was repeated (also with the creative napkin shapes that we admired every evening) and it tasted fantastic.
Furthermore, the wellness area is great. Whether you are in the sauna or the indoor pool, you have a fantastic view of the mountains. Everything is new, modern and super clean, so that you can relax superbly after a strenuous hike.
Great people here, everything very friendly and family-like, with great tips for all sorts of activities (which are simply incredibly varied here) and many nice conversations. “Watch out when choosing a room. Unfortunately one facing the car park, far too warm, the temperature cannot be regulated. From 5:30 a.m. the first suppliers arrive and park in front of the window. The furnishings are generous.
The service is gigantically good, personal, attentive, competent and caring.
The location is great, quiet, with a view of the whole valley. A small wish: free choice of seat at breakfast. We always head out early to the slopes, but were not allowed to sit at the window in the empty dining room.” Christian G., via Google
